Who is eligible for Zimbabwe’s transit eVisa?

The Zimbabwe Transit eVisa applies to eligible travellers who exit the airport during a layover before continuing their onward journey.

Note: A transit eVisa is unnecessary for travellers who remain within the airport transit zone and do not clear immigration.

Step 1

Fill the eVisa application form accurately with details such as your full name and passport number, and then select “Transit eVisa” as your eVisa type.

Step 2

Review the information carefully andadd digital copies of all the required documents. Make sure the documents are valid and belong to the applicant.

Step 3

Pay the eVisa fee securely using an accepted payment method. Processing begins only after the successful payment.

Step 4

Receive the approved eVisa at your registered email ID. Carry both the physical and digital copies when travelling.

The Zimbabwe Transit eVisa is valid for 30 days, and the permitted stay period is 7 days from the date of entry. The eVisa is issued as a single-entry permit and authorises one entry into Zimbabwe.

Important: The Transit eVisa has a fixed stay limit. Travellers must depart before the authorised period ends or obtain a different visa category for extended stays.
