Types of Zimbabwe eVisa

The Zimbabwe eVisa application portal issues 4 eVisa types to eligible applicants. Each eVisa type serves a different purpose.

1. Zimbabwe Holiday eVisa

The Zimbabwe holiday eVisa is issued to the traveller visiting Zimbabwe for holiday, tourism, sightseeing, leisure activities or personal visit (visiting friends or family).

2. Zimbabwe Transit eVisa

The Zimbabwe transit eVisa allows entering and staying in Zimbabwe briefly while transiting to another destination.

3.Zimbabwe Business eVisa

The Zimbabwe business eVisa allows entering Zimbabwe to attend business events, meetings, negotiation and similar other professional activities. 

4. Zimbabwe Conference eVisa

The Zimbabwe conference eVisa allows entering the Zimbabwe to attend any organised public or private seminar, workshop or conferencing event.

  The application is submitted completely online from the Zimbabwe eVisa application portal. No embassy or consulate visit is required.

Zimbabwe eVisa Validity and Stay Duration

  The applicant should check the approved Zimbabwe eVisa to confirm its validity and stay duration. 

• Is there any option to change the eVisa type once the eVisa is issued?

  eVisa types issued cannot be changed; if your travel purpose has changed, submit a new application choosing the relevant eVisa type. 

Zimbabwe Visa Extension Policy 

If you want to stay in Zimbabwe for more than what your eVisa allows, you need to submit an extension request to the immigration office in Zimbabwe. Extension is only possible once you have entered Zimbabwe on eVisa.
