Types of Zimbabwe e-Visas

The Zimbabwe eVisa system offers four types of e-Visas depending on the purpose of travel. The information below explains each visa type and its permitted use.

Available Zimbabwe e-Visa Types 

1. Zimbabwe Holiday e-Visa

Zimbabwe Holiday Evisa

The Zimbabwe holiday e-Visa is issued to travellers visiting Zimbabwe for tourism, leisure activities, sightseeing, or personal visits, including visiting friends or family.

2. Zimbabwe Transit e-Visa

Zimbabwe Transit Evisa

The Zimbabwe Transit e-Visa is issued to travellers who need to enter Zimbabwe briefly while continuing their journey to another destination. Short sightseeing during transit is permitted, but the primary purpose must remain onwards travel to another destination.

3.Zimbabwe Business e-Visa

Business Evisa For Zimbabwe

The Zimbabwe business e-Visa is issued to travellers visiting Zimbabwe for general business-related activities, such as business meetings, negotiations, partnership discussions, or short-term professional engagements.

4. Zimbabwe Conference e-Visa

Zimbabwe Conference Evisa

The Zimbabwe conference e-Visa is issued to travellers who plan to attend international conferences, seminars, workshops, or other organised professional or academic events in Zimbabwe.

Validity and Stay Duration of Zimbabwe e-Visa

Travellers must enter Zimbabwe within the visa validity period and leave before the authorised stay duration expires.

Single-Entry e-Visa

  • Holiday / Business / Conference: Valid for 30 days, allowing a stay of up to 30 days.
  • Transit e-Visa: Valid for 30 days, allowing a stay of up to 7 days while travelling to another destination.

Double-Entry e-Visa

  • Holiday / Business / Conference: Valid for 90 days, allowing two visits with a stay of up to 30 days per visit.

Zimbabwe e-Visa Extension Policy

While it’s possible to extend your stay in some cases, it’s not guaranteed. You must apply for an extension with the Department of Immigration in Zimbabwe before your e-Visa expires.
