How To Apply for a Zimbabwe e-Visa

The Zimbabwe e-Visa allows eligible travellers to obtain travel approval online before their trip. This guide walks you through each step of the application process.

Apply from home by following the steps below.

Step 1: Visit the e-Visa portal & Register

Open the Zimbabwe e-Visa application form. Enter your name, email address, and date of arrival in Zimbabwe, then click Register to complete the process.

Step 2: Proceed with the Application Form

On the main application page, enter your passport number, nationality, port of arrival, and host details. Select the appropriate e-Visa category from the drop-down list based on your purpose of visit, required validity, and intended stay duration.

Step 3: Add Applicants and Choose a Processing Speed

Click Add Applicant to include additional travellers in the same application. Enter accurate details for each person.

Select one of 3 available processing speeds based on your travel timeline. (Normal, Rush or Super Rush)

Step 4: Review and Confirm Your Details

Check all entered information for accuracy. Correct any errors before moving to the next step.

Step 5: Upload the Required Documents

Attach clear, legible scans of the following:

Applicant's digital photo
Passport bio page
Proof of residence of the host

Step 6: Pay the Fee and Await Approval

Pay the processing fee using a major debit or credit card, or another accepted payment method, through the secure payment gateway on the website. Your application will then be reviewed.

Step 7: Receive Your Zimbabwe e-Visa

Once approved, your e-Visa will be sent to your registered email address. Download it, print a copy, and carry it with you when travelling to Zimbabwe.

Complete an Ongoing Zimbabwe e-Visa Application

To resume an incomplete application, enter your temporary order ID and complete the security verification. Click Complete Partially Filled Zimbabwe eVisa Application to access your saved form and continue from where you stopped.

You will receive daily status updates at your registered email address. To check your application status at any time, use the visa tracking link on the e-Visa portal.
